Tonight was special! I started with 2 warm up sets of 60kg for 8 reps, then 100kg for 5 reps. Now I’m warmed up I hit 3 reps of 120kg, 140kg and 2 reps of 160kg (which is the most I have lifted without straps) I then went straight to 180kg for 1 rep and finished with a new PB of 185kg. I then dropped the weight back down to 100kg and carried out 6 reps, just to cool down and finish off.
I was struggling with 170kg for possibly 6 months. Since I hit that, I have managed to progress to 185kg in less than 8 weeks.
