I have a problem!
As you know, I have been on a diet for an experiment. The problem I have now is that I’m eating too healthy. I eat so healthy, that I’m consuming approximately 1500 calories a day. I burn at least 600 calories during my nightly exercise and I’m guessing I burn at least 500 calories in the day (I will monitor and find this out). To maintain my body weight, I should have 3300 calories a day according to the body fat machine I have.
My strength at the gym has dropped significantly since I started my diet too. I feel better with less fat and i don’t ever feel fatigue, but I still need to consume at least 1500 calories extra per day. It’s nice being in the gym and seeing your muscle definition through your skin, but it comes at a price.
Here’s the good part
I have lost enough weight now and I can easily maintain the weight I’m at. I wanted to drop a bit of weight an I have.
How do I do this without eating unhealthy food?
I don’t know, but I’m going to do it!
How do you know it’s the food?
That’s not the problem, I need to eat more calories and that’s a fact! I have a problem now with healthy eating, I’m addicted. I can’t stop eating healthy, I have a disorder which has gone too far.
I also need to bear in mind that I have been ill this weekend and ate hardly anything, as well as not sleeping Saturday night. It all mounts up to something bad.
How has it affected me at the gym?
My strength has decreased a lot over the last three weeks. It could be a coincidence with what’s been going on. Last week I went to the gym after a funeral and this weekend, I have had a stomach bug. Either way, I need to eat more!
What have I learnt?
Something very special. I have control over my body and I can put on weight and lose it. I take this as a skill. If you think different, try it yourself, it’s extremely hard to control your body like I have.
I’m the fittest I have ever been, I’ve killed obesity before it killed me…
