‘I’ train my biceps on a Monday for around 15 minutes. I do standing Ez bar, standing curls and cable curls. My strength has gone up from 20lb dumbbells to 50lb dumbbells just over this year. Many people have told me that I don’t need to concentrate on my biceps if I workout right, as the compound exercises will naturally build my biceps along with the rest of my body.
I couldn’t agree more with that statement for myself, as I have gained a lot of strength, but I have hardly worked specifically on my biceps.
A few months back I was swinging 40lb dumbbells as they were way to heavy for me. Now I can rep 50lb dumbbells and they are getting easier. The bicep pump feels awesome though and that’s one reason to curl.
