Chest and Biceps 06/08/12


Pre workout supplement C4 Explode.

Tonight I was focusing on chest and biceps. I started of with the compound exercise which was the bench press. I hit a new personal best tonight at 225lb and this and it feels really good. Especially as i had the aim of 220lb by the end of 2012.

Moving on I did incline bench press, which went equally as well hitting another PB of 155lb!

I then did some flat bench flys, 20kg’s 8 reps x 4 sets, which concluded my chest workout.

Bicep routine is simple as it’s just 1 muscle, so I started with some 25kg + Ez bar for 8 reps x 4 sets.

Then on to standing curls, 40lb x8 x 4 again.

Lastly I did some concentration cable curls which varied in weight from around 30kg to 60kg, aiming for 8 reps and 4 sets.

That’s all for tonight, roll on Wednesday when I try Clean + Jerks for the second time.
